This year on behalf of Hockey NSW I will be running a Kookaburra 8s Program.

Included in the program will be 3 x 1 hour training sessions run by myself and hopefully club coaches that are interested in coaching a U11s team in 2018.

The main day will be a round robin game day on Saturday March 3^rd on the Central Coast. This day will include games against other clubs/teams, whiteboard sessions, meet and greet with current/ex Australian players as well as umpire and coach development.

Extra sessions may be added for late registrations so everyone can get there moneys worth. The registration is set up for individual registrations with teams to be put together closer to the main event. School teams and new players are welcome.

U/7 Mixed – Commence Thursday, 12/10 to 30/11 at 5pm. 6 aside, 1/4 or modified sized, no goalies; polo hockey , no equipment needed.[Lots of FUN]Cost: New Players Rego $12.85; Turf Cost per player: $25 . This is mainly for new players. Players who played Winter may like to play a comp with their own sticks if we have enough interested players.

U/11 Mixed – Commence Thursday, 12/10 to 30/11 at 5pm. 6 a side, 1/4 Field no Goalies.  Cost: New Players Rego $16.93 ;Turf Cost per player: $50.Time may need to change slightly depending on numbers of teams.

U/15 Mixed – Commence Thursday, 12/10 to 30/11 at 6pm. 6 a side, 1/2 field, no Goalies. Cost: New Players Rego $32.23 ; Turf Cost per player: $60

Organise a team or put your name down and we will organise a team. New players need to register through Hunter Hockey Website, all players that have played in Winter only need to pay turf component. All turf payments are paid to Maitland Hockey.

Senior Summer Hockey

will also be run. from the first week of term 4 October 9th on Mondays an potentially Sunday.
Players from 13 years are able to play in these competitions.
New Players:  Rego Over 18 $47.53; Under 18s: $32.23 , Through Hunter Hockey Website.
Turf fees are paid per team, maximum of $75 per player.

Congratulations to all our U13 and U18 Players

U18s: Last Game tonight 29/8 and Presentation from 6pm. Don’t forget to bring a change of shirt so uniforms can be handed in. We wish all our players moving on the best for their future.

U13s: Grand Final – Wednesday 30/8 from 6pm. BBQ and Presentation of Team and Competition Awards following the game. Remember to bring uniforms back to the presentation for Kookaburras and North Grey and a change of clothes for Royals and North White so uniforms can be handed in at the end of the game. We wish the Grand Finalists best of luck in their game.

Remember to get the BBQ order in if need to as per the last email sent.

Summer will run for the first 8 weeks of Term 4 for U7s, U12s and U15s

Major Semi Final: Royals v North White

The Winner of the Major Semi Final will go through to the Grand Final on the 30th August. The Loser of the Major Semi Final will play the Winner of the Minor Semi Final in the Final on the 23rd of August at 6pm.

The U13 Presentation will be on the 30th August after  the Grand Final. There will be a BBQ for ALL players and presentation of special and team awards awards.

U16 (under 16 as of January 1st, 2017), Maximum of 8 teams. Mixed Teams, Full field, 11 a side. Fully equipped

Just a reminder there is no Junior U13 and U18 training for the next 2 Thursday. On again 13th July. Second Thursday in the school Holidays. U12s don’t forget to apply for the School Holidays Development Program on the 4th July at Maitland. Book in through HockeyNSW website.

As we are Sugar Plum Fairies and melt in the rain, we will not be having training tonight. Come to the Maitland Hockey Meeting at Maitland Park Bowling Club at 7.sopm instead. All welcome! See you there!

Just a reminder that there is no U18 & U13 Hockey training tonight and next Thursday. All U6, 9 & 13 Games will recommence the first week back at school. Wednesday 26/4/17. U18s will not recommence until the following week as the first Tuesday falls on ANZAC Day.
