Last Night of Summer Juniors

Hi All,

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday 12/12 is our last Summer Juniors. Thanks to all U7 and11 who replied to my email. U7 and U11 will run at 5pm, any older siblings waiting for 6pm start, can join in. U15s will commence at 6pm. If it is only drizzling, hockey will be on! Bring a towel and a change of clothes and come and join the fun in the rain. If the rain is heavy or we have thunder and lightning then I will put a post up for 5pm by 4.20pm, and 5.30pm for 6pm. See you there!

We hope that all our Hockey Community has a great break and a wonderful time with their families.

Thanks Ros

Maitland Junior Hockey Carnival, 12th August

Our annual Maitland Junior Hockey Carnival is fast approaching. This will be held on Sunday, 12th August and gives our players the opportunity to play against players from the areas around the Hunter.

There are opportunities for U16; U13 and U10 age groups. U16 and U13 teams play from 8am to 4pm. U10 players play from 8.30 to 12.30 approximately, [depends on team numbers]. Costing is U16 – $15; U13 – $19 and U10 -$5 per player.

For players who are still engaged in competition, there will be a sheet to add your name to at the field at your next game. Please do so as we need to nominate team numbers. If you have any questions please ask the coaches.

For the players in our U9 competition who are interested in playing in the U10 competition please email me on, if you are not at the field or add your name to the sheet at the field.

We are also asking for any parents who would be happy to help organise a team on the day, umpire, give out and collect uniforms and assist in the canteen. Without volunteers Maitland Hockey could not continue to function. Thank you for your assistance.
